Ideally, the Commission would like to list all those living in Chautauqua County who have served in our nation's armed forces since 1900. The only requirement we have set is that the veteran have a DD 214 (separation papers) or equivalent from the service.

Over 17,000 veterans had been listed as of November 2003. If you are a veteran, and you would like to be listed, just fill out the enrollment form. We are happy to include you. In addition, if you know a veteran who should be listed, please fill out a form as well.

Chautauqua Veterans is a veterans database operated by the Fenton Historical Society of Jamestown, New York. The database was originally operated by the Veterans Memorial Commission.

About the Database

Ideally, the Commission would like to list all those living in Chautauqua County who have served in our nation's armed forces since 1900. The only requirement we have set is that the veteran have a DD 214 (separation papers) or equivalent from the service.
